 Bruworks Brewing Co was born out of a garage in Durban in 2014, as two friends started experimenting with home brew beer kits. What started out as a passion project soon turned into a business idea when the founders realised that good quality, affordable beer was needed in the craft beer market. With technical backgrounds, the founders have used their unique skills to create a craft beer brand that is engineered to be down to earth, delicious and accessible to all beer drinkers.
The brewery is situated in the industrial area of Hammarsdale, KwaZulu Natal. The factory setting is true to the raw, real and uncomplicated nature of our brand. What makes our brewery unique is the engineering background of the founders. With this thinking, most of the equipment used in the brewery has been made from scratch using technology such as 3D printing. |
